About Zoya Godoroja

Zoya’s practice is rooted in drawing, and she primarily produces works on paper, expanding into painting, printmaking, book-making, soft sculpture, installation, and community engagement projects. Her work is underpinned by emotion and a belief in art’s capacity to foster introspection and change, valuing practices of care and vulnerability as a means of connection. Often working in series, she explores the many dimensions of a single subject, whether through small monoprints or large, interactive soft sculptures. Informed by personal and collective experiences, Zoya creates intimate works that invite contemplation and reflection for both viewer and artist alike.
